The coaster “Karina” could have been handed over to its new owner on the 31.01.2022. Followed by an underwater inspection the handover took place in the port of Tallinn.
MV “Karina” was part of the coaster fleet of the company since 2014. As from now on it will be operated by its new owner in the European costal trade.

The container vessel “Jennifer Schepers” could have been handed over to its new owner on the 08.11.2021. It was part of the HS fleet since 2016. First only managed technically and taken over in 2019 completely by the HS Group and operated in the liner service in central America.

The 2001 built in the Netherlands multi purpose vessel “FWN Paula” was taken over by its new owners on the 11.10.2021. The vessel was taken over into the HS fleet in 2016 and was operated worldwirde under different charterers.

On 10.05.2021 the company could sale the container vessel “Gesina Schepers” to its new owners. Since 2018 the vessel was in operation under different charterers mainly in the Mediterranean region.

Beginning of March 2021 HS Schiffahrt could takeover the last of total 14 coaster. The project was contracted in October 2020. As from December 2020 the vessel were taken over with partner companies from northern Germany.
All vessel were built from 1998 until 2007 at the SLKB shipyard Komarno with a capacity of 3.000 to 4.450 metric tons.
In the past weeks the HS Group could expand its fleet by two more vessel. With this two sister vessel “Imke Schepers” and “Wiebke Schepers” there are now 16 Containervessel in operations for the company.
On 25.08.2020 the 2010 at the Jiangsu Sainty Shipyards built “Imke Schepers” was taken over. One week later on 01.09.2020 the 2009 built “Wiebke Schepers” was also taken over.
Both units had their class renewal in the first half of the year und its former owner. Having a container capacity of 1012 TEU and a high ice class IA they will be operated by an MaK 8M43C as main engine. Their future trading area will be the feederservice in easter Asia.
On 11/03/2020 the MV “BBC Kansas” could be handed over to its new owners. The handover took place in the port of Freeport, Bahamas.
The multipurpose vessel of the F-Type series was taken over by the shipping company in January 2017. Since that it was operated in worldwide trade under flag of Antigua & Barbuda with its name “BBC Kansas”.
In the future it will fly the flag of Liberia and sail under different name by the new owner. HS wishes everyone involved all the best!
